Plumber

We are looking for a plumber to join our ranks. The role is focused on plumbing and gas services, including fault finding, testing, repairs and maintenance at domestic, commercial and industrial sites, as well as for government and corporate entities such as Ergon, QBuild, Ventia, Powerlink, Blue Care and many more.

  • Hold a Queensland Plumbers, Provisional Plumbers or Gas Fitters licence
  • Sound knowledge of AS3500 and relevant codes and legislations
  • Hold a current Queensland manual driver’s licence
  • Have or be willing to obtain Backflow TMV and Heat Pump accreditation
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience in the maintenance sector

Carry out domestic, commercial and industrial plumbing and gas fitting maintenance and installations. Duties include inspecting, repairing, installing, maintaining, testing and commissioning of:

  • Potable, non-potable, and rainwater systems
  • Fixtures and appliances
  • Hot water heaters and heater banks, including electric, solar, gas, and heat pumps
  • TMV valves
  • Backflow prevention devices
  • Gas appliances
  • Sewer and stormwater drains, including septic and greywater systems
  • Roofing, guttering, downpipes, and flashings
  • Read, interpret, and draft detailed plans and specifications
  • Complete and lodge plumbing forms as required
  • Carry out works according to relevant standards, codes, and legislations
  • Be on-call for a minimum of one week per month
  • Carry out minor associated trade-related works as instructed
  • Follow and comply with all company procedures and policies

Electrician

We are looking for an electrician to join our ranks. Trades Assistant

We are looking for a Trades Assistant to join our ranks. The role is focused on assisting our trade personal and completing tasks where trade licences are not required on domestic, commercial and industrial sites, as well as for government and corporate entities such as Ergon, QBuild, Ventia, Powerlink, Blue Care and many more.

  • Proven prior experience in a similar role
  • Hold a current Queensland MR driver’s licence or higher
  • Hold current high-risk licences for EWP excavator and skid steer
  • An understanding of building maintenance and trades
  • Have or be willing to obtain certificates in working at heights, asbestos awareness, confined spaces, etc.
  • Assist trades personnel with daily responsibilities
  • Clean and tidy the workplace
  • Perform minor handyman tasks
  • Operate plant and equipment, including trucks, excavator, skid steer, EWP, mowers, brush cutters, and chainsaws
